I am Celebrating Father's Day Also

Writer's picture: Charlotte KuhnCharlotte Kuhn

Many of you have met Milo - either in person, or through social media. You cannot help but love him. Don't you love your lets like your kids? Aren't they an integral part of your life? Your pets are your friend, confidant, and beloved companion. They are family!

A while back, I had the privilege of photographing Milo. His mom decided that this shot would be a perfect Father's Day gift for Milo's dad. Well, Milo's mom just texted me and told me it was a perfect gift! Even, perhaps, a little emotional. There is an incredible bond between Milo and his dad. I will even admit, I got a wee bit emotional when I heard how much this was appreciated.

And people wonder why I have dived into pet photography as my post-retirement gig. I absolutely love to see pet parents and their pets. The people frequently become more relaxed, more themselves, and oftentimes show honest joy!

(To be honest, there are times with our pets, that we may not be happy with them! Like when our dog, Kenzy, spent a week, every day, going out at 4:00 a.m. to bark at racoons on the other side of the fence. I don't want to jynx myself, but I think the racoons have moved on.)

But, 99.99999% of the time, Kenzy and Abby bring us incredible joy, companionship, inspiration, laughter, and love. Never tell me that animals do not have emotions.

Is that how you see your pets? Wouldn't you love to have your pet's memories of being regal, goofy, and loving captured in some nice photos? They are your family, after all, and I can help capture the images that bring joy to you. If you are interested, contact me at phydoughfotos.com. I hope to hear from you!
